Ardmore Park Neighborhood Association Announces $17,500 Matching Grant from Park Pride for Park Improvements
Ardmore, GA – The Ardmore Park Neighborhood Association (APNA) is proud to announce that Ardmore Park has been awarded a $17,500 matching grant from Park Pride to replace benches, tables, and garbage cans, as well as the addition of bike parking. This grant will be used to improve the overall appearance and functionality of the park, making it a more enjoyable and accessible place for the community to gather and enjoy.
"We are thrilled to receive this matching grant from Park Pride," said Greg Dunavant, President of the Ardmore Park Neighborhood Association. "The new benches, tables, garbage cans, and bike parking will improve the park's overall aesthetic and make it a more pleasant place for visitors to relax and spend time with friends and family. This grant will also encourage more sustainable transportation by providing bike parking."
The grant money will be used to purchase new benches, tables, and garbage cans that are made of durable, long-lasting materials and creation of bike parking spaces. The new items will be installed in the park by the end of the year and will be available for use by the community in 2023.
